The problem with an adult/child sexual relationship is that no meaningful relationship is possible. The adult is simply using the child in a twisted kind of masturbation. The child is dehumanized and objectified. In far too many cases the child is simply discarded afterwards, sometimes emotonally, sometimes literally as in cases where children are killed and the bodies dumped somewhere. Essentially the same process happens when an adult is raped by another adult. As I follow this thread and think about it, I would personally be very uncomfortable about even considering a relationship with anyone not of my generation. Generation is difficult to define but I expect we can all figure it out after a little non-sexual interaction with someone.

However, none of that sheds any light on what legal ages should be. I consider anyone who can make their own way in the world an adult, but that age would vary considerably.

Okay. I've already addressed the topic, so I will not repeat anything here, what I will say is that it's not my goal to find a young child in my bed. I have no need for emotionless sex with someone who can't understand. The more I talk to girls around 16, the more I realize how mixed up they are (and I was) at that age. Mixed up is unattractive, but not 100% of them are that way, and they are free to make other life-changing decisions. Sex should not be excluded from the choices they are legally allowed to make.

She does, but it isn't like that wit her. Her parents don't like her talking to anyone she doesn't know/having a myspace/etc. She's just fun to talk with, and online a lot of the time. We have group convos with my friends, her friends, XanthosNZ sometimes.

She's in Greece until the end of the month though. I am sad.

As a father with two daughters I will tell you the outcome would be most unsatisfying for any emotionaly immature male his age.
