It's now been a week and a half since Mueller's testimony and there have been a slew of polls regarding Trump's approval. The results from the two main aggregates of polls are:
Real Clear Politics: July 23rd: Approve 45.0% Disapprove 52.0% Net -7.0%
August 3rd" Approve 43.3% Disapprove 53.1% Net -9.8%
538: July 23rd: Approve 42.7% Disapprove 53.0% Net -10.3%
August 3rd: Approve 42.3% Disapprove 53.2% Net -10.9%
It's hard to read "political disaster" for the Democrats in these figures; perhaps the testimony didn't move the needle as much as they hoped but the evidence indicates it hurt Trump somewhat. What full blown impeachment hearings would do is speculative but it'd hard to argue a case they would help Trump.

@patzering saidAnd you know all about stink don't you. I bet you are afraid to go outside because of your stink. Just swab yourself with kerosine, that will cover up your stench.
Democrat denial is a stinky cologne.
