that is exactly the question - we find out when there are several corpses.
How do you know he's a psycho?
i.e flexmore accuses eveybody other than farmers and policemen of being lunatics. A typical low POV, lefty control freak types have of their fellow man.

There is a man. He is an honorable and just man. The police are incompetent and children are being stalked by a rapist and murderer who is much bigger and stronger than the man.
Does this change the answer? It shouldn't; both the loonie and this guy should have the same law applied to them since the law does not know which is which.
in each case an alternative is required.
when the police do not act appropriately you can call their superiors - and eventually the politicians and media.
when a psycho quietly gets a gun - noone knows - until it is too late.

i think requirement of ownership of a gun for farming and policing can be important to that person - I think you do too Mrs Wajoma? farmers and police have a different need of guns from the rest of us.
then there are most of the remaining people who are not murderers nor farmers, nor police and mostly do not care very much.
then, Mrs Wajoma, there are also the murderous psychos ... what should happen when a psycho goes to a gun shop?

A psycho wants a gun.
This is a genuine loonie who wants to kill everyone at their highschool 5 years after they left.
This person has never committed any crime in their entire life - not even a parking fine.
What should they have to do to show that it is a good idea for them to have a gun?
And if they get a gun, then how powerful and fast should that gun be?
Having gun control will just make the honest ones hand in their guns like what happened here in Australia.

You're a funny joke.
Gun control has not really done much here as the number of gun related crimes is rising ,don't know about there in NZ but it doesn't work ,people did make good money in the gun buy back scheme .

now what happens when a psycho goes into a gun shop?
(in australia, we are relatively safe, but in some other countries the psycho can just buy what is wanted)
Originally posted by flexmoreYeah just look at the gun Martin Bryant used at Port Arthur ,that gun was handed in in Victoria to be destroyed and ended up in his hands where he supposedly killed 36 people on his own (there is still debate to whether he acted alone, but that is another topic) so i guess what you just said did happen in reality so are we that safe here in Australia?
lets imagine my father handed in our family gun as part of that.
