@kevcvs57 saidShav above reminds us that we 'we were told' about Trump's bad personality, and some of us like me already knew that. Blowhard city. Y'all did tell us, and he does have that personality. But when you told us that, we were not interested in that as much as we were about having a person with leadership qualifications. And he is rated at bottom of presidents, I know. I don't want him to be back, for the record, but we need a strong leader, so I hope we have someone with the good parts of Trump. I would rather he deal with the dictators of the world than a person like biden or buttegeig.
Well if something did come over him it must been as a toddler because trump hasn’t changed one iota, he has always been fragile narcissist. You’re correct the adoration piled onto him by his base may have exaggerated his personality flaws but he was never a popular potus with the electorate given that he lost the popular vote in 2016.
Your problem is how do you sneak Desant ...[text shortened]... ing the anyone but trump vote. And if trump doesn’t win will he order his base to stay home in 2024.
I won't be voting for Trump, but cannot vote socialism. The Georgia Warnock is a socialist. Alas, what are we traditionalists to do...........
@AverageJoe1
Well, for starters, you could get your head out your ass and just admit Trump is a flaming criminal and has no place in our politics. He wasn't even CLOSE to being a leader, he was a mafia boss, dictating his needs and if you didn't kiss his ring and swear loyalty to Donald Trump you get fired as Comey found out.
You can't have government run by mafia bosses. It just doesn't work like that because POTUS is a community job, he HAS to listen to his advisors and not just install yes men like Trump did.
@wajoma saidVery few GOP elected officials have denounced Trump's recent call to abandon the Constitution and place him in the White House. He is currently their accepted party leader. MANY Republican voters now consider themselves Independents as they do not like the fascist direction the current GOP has adopted. I think Liz Cheney stands a good chance of winning in 2024 if she runs as an Independent. Heather Cox Richardson is a highly respected historian with great credentials. I know you would rather spout some crazy sound bite that has no factual basis. You are an ignorant brick wall.
You had a big copy paste that was weighing on your finger and you were very excited about it so you jammed it in the first place that came up. It's all somebody else's words but you felt very proud of your effort. You have now called every republican a 'right wing fascist pig'. Can we have some definitions please all we've had so far from ATY is rightwing: anyone that suppo ...[text shortened]... e your definition of 'right wing fascist pig' so we can see how it applies to millions of Americans.
@averagejoe1 saidHow about calling Jan 6 a "nothing day" that we shouldn't even be talking about.
What has one of the right wing posters said that would warrant such a title for those on the right? Specifically.
Hunter Biden issue is much much worse.
Specifically.
@sonhouse saidHas not been adjudicated criminal. As far as January 6 goes, that is up to them and him, if he’s guilty of something he goes to jail. I cannot believe y’all study this so much. It is amazing.

Yes, of course, the laptop….Notice , I do not mention Hunter, as, the laptop stands alone, and we are using that to find out what Joe was up to. Why is that so hard for y’all to understand?
So I don’t care about what happens about January 6 , I don’t care about who was there or what happens to them. I would not have been there, I would not taken the risk….. if they did, they are stupid. If you fellas want to follow January 6, I wish you would keep it to yourself as no one really gives a crap. That is the oldest history on the forum. There’s nothing old about Joe Biden being hung up inside the laptop, though, it is ongoing, don’t you know.
@mghrn55 saidYes, in my opinion January 6 I have not called a nothing day, but I called out ongoing inquisition to be an owner. I don’t care Yes, in my opinion January 6 I have not called a nothing day, but I call that ongoing inquisition to be a yawner. I don’t care what happens to those people or to Donald. I wonder why you do. It is history.

I hope not to write about it anymore, but Son house is so entertaining that I might have to throw a few barbs in as we go along..
@AverageJoe1
Help me out here. Marauder says on another thread, that the tuition loan forgiveness does not cost us one cent. His explanation is so confusing that I am a lost.
So, can you get him to tell me why all of the media outlets and reporters are saying it will cost about $500B.
I think that the Forum, in the interest of transparency, should at least hear that from marauder, so that we can move to the next discussion level on that issue. I just don't want to start a thread on it, mentioning names and all that. It is a clear question.
Seriously, why dont y'all answer questions?
@averagejoe1 saidBiden's student loan repayment plan is a political move to garner the support of those with debt. If the SCOTUS shoots down the plan, Biden can blame the court. A better plan would be to work with Congress to fix the existing student-loan system. Low-income borrowers should be automatically enrolled in a simplified income-based repayment plan to ensure that they pay what they can afford. The amount that students can borrow for graduate school should be limited. Measures to gather data on students’ career outcomes should be strengthened, and institutions should be held accountable for saddling graduates with high levels of debt they’ll never repay. We need a highly educated citizenry if we are to compete economically globally. Affordable higher education is a national security issue. As such, there should be more government support for education at every level.

@sonhouse saidNope. This is the truth by debate forum. When people debate on here they get differing opinions that are hashed out until the facts come out. When the facts come out and you don't like them you whine about it and call anybody who exposes facts an ultrarightwingnut person.
This should now be called the ultrarightwingnut fringe forum. Any takers?
Then you watch Rachel Maddow because she gives you the disinformation that you would like to believe. Rachel Maddow "Is Not News" according to a court ruling. They concluded you don't watch her to get news and facts. Too bad nobody told you that.
https://rumble.com/v1oh0a5-rachel-maddow-is-not-news-says-court-ruling.html
When you watched Rachel Maddow you were getting ultraleftwingnut fringe lies that you wanted to believe. You were looking for a confirmation bias and the only way to get it was from a liar, so you went to Rachel Maddow instead of the news.
You have a problem with the truth and miss the soothing lies you were told by your own party. You hate the truth so much you want it censored and that is what is happening and you support it. You are at war with the truth. You want more propaganda because the truth does not make you feel good about the democrat party.
@averagejoe1 saidI doubt you got farther than my first line. The government should be funding public education at every level. No one should go into debt paying for their education. Tax dollars should fund education. Without a highly educated citizenry, we cannot compete globally. By "well educated" I do not mean just echnical, STEM training. Education means learning how to be a critical thinker, learning history and other subjects in the humanities.
Bless you Phranny, but our friendly "Gimme-it' crowd cannot process all that. Truly. This could be the moment where you change the rationale of the Forum!

@kevcvs57 saidGood point, no argument, but relative to people who are full bloodied capitalists, like myself, they are socialists. Read Phtanny just above about ‘free college.’ He is socialist in my book. Tell me Kevin, will govt dependency end after he gets his free college, or is he gonna want some more stuff, from the government?

Why will your answer here be a dodge, not an answer at all ?
