No, that would be a one-party state thing. Dems have it wrapped. Naturals at it.
Stop drinking the kool-aid.

But if Republicanism is about following Trump, then they should be flushed along with him. Yes, I understand there are still Republicans with integrity out there. They need to not be afraid to come forward.
Republicanism produced trump.
With trump gone, the party is not going to change.

I think the Republican Party had a reasonable idea when they decided to try a successful business person to renovate the USA establishment. Trouble is, they didn't check the credentials of the fast-talking celebrity conman who put up his hand for the job.

The question is, can they get their house in order and do the selection process properly in 2024, or does all this nonsense continue for the next 4 years?

Trouble is, he wasn't really successful as a businessman; he'd been faking it all along, living on credit not on real profits. What he was successful at was selling his image, and the Republican Party probably thought they could tame him in four years if they just got him into the WH. They found out they couldn't tame him. It's time for the Republican Party to drop him, and there are many Republican Senators who are prepared to do just that, once he's out.

The Republican Party will have to re-invent itself, not in Trump's image. The personality cult he created is toxic.

One win and Ossoff ahead so we may win after all.
Of course even if we win we won't get everything on the dem book, we would need 60 senate votes for that and at best, assuming Ossoff wins, is 50/50 with Kamala deciding vote.

We can get SOME stuff through though IF Ossoff wins.

Maybe they will breathe a huge sigh of relief and come out Jan 21.

Wishful thinking I suppose but one can always hope.

@sonhouse

It looks like a razor-thin win for both Democratic candidates (with some absentee ballots yet to be counted):
