The study was done by "Center Left Think Tank" and reported by Yahoo so it will obviously be a play on words to get the desired result so lets analyze it shall we?

The study is suggesting that the states in the American South have the highest murder rates.

Of course it does. It has been that way for a very long time because the American South has the largest bla ...[text shortened]... democrat cities you will find a common denominator which is responsible for their high murder rates.
Here's another one for you reading pleasure

Yeah. Probably. I guess red states are more into rape and incest.
BOSTON ..... NEW ORLEANS
Comparable cities; size, population.
Murder rates.....Admittedly, extreme examples, statistics none the less.
RED STATE ~~ BLUE STATE
Show me another two population similar examples.

So what specific aspect of black ‘culture’ is the causal factor and do you think it is present in the global African population or is this black cultural phenomenon restricted to American people with black skin?
It is strictly the American black culture.

Once, long ago, they wore suits and had respect for themselves and their community.
They cared about family and God.
They were amazing at music and sports.
They owned businesses in their communities and the only problem they had was racist whites which was dying on its own.

Then comes along Crack cocaine. (1980's)

The glorification of gangsters from rap music brought in the "criminal mindset" where they only think about themselves.
That caused them to turn on each other and not care about the consequences of their actions. (1990's)

Now we have entire cities complaining about crime and murder because a bunch of people who can't even pull up their pants are killing each other because gangsters are "cool"...

Instead of stopping themselves and adjusting the way they live, they blame whitey.
It is an easier excuse to blame whitey instead of admitting the problem they have is themselves.

When you have real Africans and blacks from other countries despising American blacks then you know it is a culture problem.

If you look at a timeline you can clearly see the downfall of black neighborhoods started with drugs and rap music.

Turn off the rap music. Pull up your pants and read a book. Ignore the racist blacks who are constantly trying to blame whitey for black failings and bringing up slavery at every turn. That would be a good start towards a real cultural revolution within themselves.

Why did people in the 20s blame Black culture and Jazz music for crime if it started in the ‘80s?

I thought you had figured out the real reason when you mentioned the south’s high poverty incidence but no you then veered off to AverageJoeville and blamed it on ‘culture’
Kev, I have to square you out.

I once met a man who was the band leader at Mississippi State University. He was an excellent chess player but never quite got to USCF Master level (2200). No offense to Peyton, but that's the best Mississippi could do?

You see, it is NOT skin color or poverty, it is *culture*.
