I mean, you are talking really, really stupid.

The American Republican Party or GOP as it is known
are an insular inward looking bunch of rednecks who
only believe in certain values and ideals which do not
appeal to the wider American population.

This is why they have lost the last two elections.
They are out of touch with modern mainstream
America and they do not have the wherewithal
to recover the support that they have lost.

Finally the people see the GOP for what it really is.
A right wing gun nut homophobic racist rabidly
evangelical group of rednecks who would fail to find
Europe on a map never mind an obscure individual
single country. Ever since Kennedy the Democratic
Party had the proper creed. Ask not what your country
can do for you. Ask what can you do for your country.

The GOP have this the other way around. They don't
care about ordinary Americans. They are too wrapped
up in big business to care about ordinary Americans

Go Hilary for 2016.

I never really cared for Palin as a political candidate, but now she has a great life. She just shows up for speeches and rubs salt in everyones would as if to say, "Miss me yet?"

A zinger is a zinger only if given UNSCRIPTED, OFF THE CUFF, STANDING ON YOUR FEET, IN DIRECT RESPONSE TO SOMETHING YOUR OPPONENT ACTUALLY SAID.......

But the right talks to chairs.....enuff said....

Every complaint she made btw directly applies to her very own performance at CPAC.

You are living in a dream world, if you expect politicians not to prepare remarks. The President can't put a sentence together without a teleprompter. They all try to prepare for every possible opponent's response.

By the way, most people thought Eastwood was very effective talking to a chair. It could have been to an empty suit.

If Sarah Palin never runs as a candidate again, I'll not be disappointed. With many candidates from two major parties for President, its kind of a long shot for anyone, especially for anyone who has already run.

If she were to be the candidate, I would support her, and work my damnedest to see her win. Then if she failed, I would be disappointed.

I cannot stand listening to that woman. To hear her is to hearken to a cat fight on a blackboard. Her breathtaking vapidity induces electric currents in my spine and short-circuits every nerve and sinew of living logic. She perfectly personifies the intellectual bankruptcy of the Republican party in general.

Another explanation is offered in two books by Thomas Sowell. A Conflict of Visions, 1987, and Visions of the Anointed, 1995.

In the former Sowell identifies two differing "visions" the constrained, and the unconstrained. The constrained humbly admits man's limitations and seeks systems rather than solutions. The unconstrained lacks humility, and sees its believers as superior in intellect, and sees things in terms of solutions rather than tradeoffs.

The later, relates the Visions of the Anointed, self anointed I would add, to policies pursued by contemporaries who see themselves as superior to others, and who despite failures of their "solutions" continue to dismiss the tradeoffs of the benighted.

Of course the anointed, always call their opponents stupid, but the world indeed is a complex and sometimes frightening place to people who recognize the complexity, and who humbly don't want to run everything. The unfortunate truth is that the self congratulations of the anointed don't make them more capable of dealing with that complexity. It simply makes their solutions dangerous.

I submit that Clint Eastwood has forgotten more about acting, producing and staging events than you ever knew.
