I believe that is what those giant car shredding machines are for.
The real issue is getting fossil fuels off the roads, go to electric or hydrogen powered vehicles. They are even working on a passenger jet running hydogen and electric motors (Superconducting because they weigh less than half that of a room temp motor)

I'm not finished,. (Not 'done', as northerners say). NOW you need to see the definition of....let's pick liberty. "The state of being free within a society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior or political views".
This will answer your question. And this is a fact, not an opinion, and it has nothing to do with me or Handy or Mott, there is no point in going beyond what I have written above.,
I feel most of the time that you liberal people are trolling us, the question was ridiculous. I assume that we can stipulate that you, personally, are all about big government, and people like me do not want government to do much more than control airplanes, food and drug, and have a strong military. Beyond that, I and Suzianne and Earl take care of ourselves,.... practice a bit of self-reliance. You may have to look that one up too.

Democrats want to restructure our system of government, for god sakes. Our 250 year old country. Our SCOTUS. And, Freedom of Speech, just by your Cancel Culture alone, has already been curtailed, beyond being 'threatened'....it is happening Sue. You worried about them getting our guns? A threat, maybe? I have 12 of them. I also have 'more than one' car. A threat, maybe?
Enough. Just watch the news. Note how it is all about politics now, which should tell you something, maybe help you with your question.

You may say personal experience? I sold stock over a year ago, paid 20% capital gain tax, which is fine. With that $25K, I bought 8 bitcoin at $3300 each. I would like to take my profit now, which is substantial, but the Democratic 'threat' which you correctly call it, is that NOW, the capital gains tax is going to double. So, I am not going to be able to exercise my freedom to sell the Bitcoin, the proceeds of which could pay for quite a bit of grandchild's college tuition!!
My freedom is thus restricted and restrained, and my liberty is restricted by the Democratic government tying my hands. Are you with me???
And I aint even going to start on what happens with that punitive tax. Do you think it will be used to pay someone's bills? Why not MY bills?
