The problem of Social Organization is how to set up an arrangement under which greed will do the less harm …….capitalism is that kind of a system, (Milton Friedman).
Could you libs POSSIBLY get this truism? The word greed is impossible to you fellers, but this makes sense for a healthy society,
Oh, I gotta go. There are people at the door wanting free fish. I meant to teach them how to fish, but have to go to a Marauder symposium.

No it does not. Scottish economist Adam Smith said: Rational people (aka acting in their own interest) would naturally find the best way to use the nation’s resources — He viewed government regulation as potentially detrimental to economic growth.

However, mathematician John Nash from Princton ultimately refutes this by arguing that "citizens must do what's best for themselves AND the group." This groundbreaking mathematical theory landed him an appointment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology decades ago.

As usual, your homespun, down yonder, hillbilly solution to a complex problem is (at best) defective.

Greed is an literally an excessive desire, and excessive anything is not good, but 'excessive' by whose standard? There are athletes it could be said have an excessive desire to be top of their game, they're put on a pedestal and medals hung on them. No.1's excessive barbie doll collection is well known here at RHP, he is greedy for barbie dolls, that's not really anyone's business but his (please don't razz him about this) Or shag doody's excessive collection of donkey dick dildos as another example, far more than the most depraved pervert needs.

John Nash was a screw ball driven mad trying to reconcile his weirdo theories, known for 'game theory' where you keep tweaking the criteria to try to prove your pre-conceived assumptions.

How do you trudge through life every day with no respect for anybody, including yourself?

One of those "weirdo theory's" won the Nobel Prize. Several others: Equilibrium, Functions, Moser Theorem, and Embedding Theorem. are now widely respected and accepted today.

And then there's suzi, some might say collecting any random pubic hair from public bathrooms is excessive, just one stiff thick & curly would be one too many, but suzi has become obsessed with collecting strangers pubic hairs. She's now visiting the, umm, comfort room 10 times a day, even when she has no 'business' there, she's looking for treasure.

How many would it take to stuff a pillow? That's a question suzi can answer, every night she rests her head on her special stinky pillow.

Yeah… let’s see… some Aussie Hillbilly wildly screaming out a koala anus… or game theory…

Yeah… not much of a bloody choice, is it?
The former is a rabid capitalist who thinks the Sun shines out of Ayn Rand’s hypocrite arse and the latter is proven mathematics.

Mhmmm… give me another few minutes to weigh this one up…

By the majority in a democratic society? Just an idea.
Most rational people know unjustifiable and dysfunctional greed when they see it, some people argue that ‘all property is theft’ I disagree and so would the majority of rational people.
There is a system for curbing excessive / dysfunctional greed and recirculating latent capital tied up in vast personal pools of wealth thus stimulating a capitalist system that is destined to eat itself. Yeah it’s the much maligned tax system.

Liberals value capitalism. I value capitalism. However, every game needs rules and regulations. Unbridled capitalism leads to many abuses. Strong unions, laws that prevent monopolies, laws that protect consumers and workers are all needed for capitalism to work well.

For every person who 'says' something, i can find a person who says the opposite. and i wish you opining libs would explain the 'duty of care' that we owe to the mexicans seeking a better life in a country other than their own. i want a chalet in Switzerland, will they help me with that?
Do y'all ever step back and see what you are saying? i have enough to live on for the rest of my life. Is it OK for me to keep making more money to use as I please? is that greed? Should authorities govern how much more i make? John Nash seems to think so. Am i greedy? What if i give !0% of my earnings, as i do, to charity? Never mind, y'all will not submit a cogent answer.
Since the socialists are getting stuff from govt that is not actually theirs, like money, is there a name for that? Like, how can they call me greedy when get the free stuff. So many unanswered questions.

A few months ago, you said you worked at the local McDonalds, and now you'd have us believe you're independently wealthy, and can afford to give an additional 10% of your earnings to charity? McDonald's wages in your state range from $9.83 to $16.00 / hour.

Joe - The problem with telling lies is you have to keep track of them, or someone else will! 😲

not wanting to be belligerent towards you (and i apologize if offence taken) but the answer to that question is:

he gets you (and anyone else who humors him) to notice him.
