I'm in Laguna Niguel and you are right, it's ridiculous to live out here but still a better place to be than most.

No you are right, we are paying for the weather mostly but so far so good for myself. I am far from rich but I do alright. I just can't imagine living anywhere else or raising my kid anywhere else now.
Sheeeeesh! For a 2/3 bedroom shack(and that's being nice), you'll drop a good $150-200K. Helllllllllllllllll no! LOL

In the community in which I am currently renting. a fairly spacious 2 bd, 2 bath, 2 car attached garage goes for about $450K-$500K....like you wrote C-R-A-Z-Y!!!!!
We have a one bedroom condo in San Juan Capistrano we own that we can sell for over $225K....one bedroom, one bath, detached garage....it's just nuts
