I'm of that opinion that the end of the Depression was caused by a lot of things. I don't think it was ant single thing like FDR's New Deal or the beginning of the WWII. Most economists agree that the Depression ended before WWII though.

I do know that some of the economists that predicted the crash in 2008, like Max Otte and Jakob Madsen, says that it will continue for at least two years no matter what. And that governments around the world will have to cooperate a response now to end it in 2010.
