@no1marauder saidForgive me for taking a broader look and not relying solely on what other people think. But has it occurred to you there is a precedent being set here? It doesn't matter whether it was an orchestrated event (a set up) or if it happened organically, this school has now set the stage for anyone working there to be targeted for reprimand and/or dismissal. This would have never happened at the high school I attended, because the rules and procedures were very clear and strictly enforced. It wasn't an anything goes free for all environment.
Sure for idle curiosity purposes it might be interesting. But I've continued to Google something like "Pembrook Pines Muslim prayer incident" for the last few days and haven't found any story that has addressed this irrelevant detail.
However, I would take your reasoning a step further and say that school should have the right to fire anyone they wish to let go, with or without cause. Because the success or failure of that school rests with the school, and how that school is run by its administrators. If they want to risk sinking their own ship then I say let them do it, and good riddance if they succeed.

So firing the teacher wasn't enough.
Just what is it going to take to make these people happy?

@no1marauder said"I'm a Non-Dualist"
I'm a Non-Dualist and find all the Abrahamic religions to be somewhat silly superstitions, but I wouldn't interrupt and insult people of those faiths when they were praying. And any teacher of any religious or nonreligious belief who does should be fired as this one was.
Sure, why not. A Non-Dualist with a black and white view of the world, where everyone falls into one of two camps. And identifies anyone who doesn't agree with him as a right winger who makes stuff up.
You are clearly a Non-Dualist who doesn't make stuff up.

As for myself, I am a Meat-Popsicle.

@kilroy70 saidThe precedent set was: teachers don't make bigoted comments to students.

That shouldn't be that hard to avoid.

@wildgrass saidI agree.
Anti non-dualist I think.
One could mistakenly believe a non-non-dualist is someone who shutters.
Or two... or any number of people.

@no1marauder saidAre you implying it's an irrelevant detail because it wasn't reported?
Sure for idle curiosity purposes it might be interesting. But I've continued to Google something like "Pembrook Pines Muslim prayer incident" for the last few days and haven't found any story that has addressed this irrelevant detail.
Did anyone find and interview the alleged two teachers who gave their permission?
We don't know, because it wasn't reported... so it must be irrelevant.
Which means what, that it's okay to troll an unpopular teacher if that is what happened?
Or it's okay for teachers to give students permission to enter some other teachers office, if that is what happened?
Who were these mysterious permission givers? Do they exist, or was it a made up excuse for why a group of Muslim students just happen to occupy a Christian woman's office?
We don't know, because it wasn't reported... so it must be irrelevant.

Who knows? I don't know... maybe?
