@no1marauder said"The teacher made a reference to "Jesus" before she interrupted the students' prayer."
I'm not sure I should waste further time answering posts as stupid as the ones you constantly make.
The teacher made a reference to "Jesus" before she interrupted the students' prayer. The school obviously didn't find their actions "disruptive" but found hers sufficient reason for termination.
Figure it out, genius.
So what? If she had not made a reference to Jesus would she then have the right to have those students removed? The issue was not religion, it was whether or not those students had a right to occupy the teacher's office.
Can you stop playing defense attorney long enough to give a rational argument?
@kilroy70 saidLMAO! You're the one trying to be a "defense lawyer" and doing a crappy job of it.

Here's what the school said:
""Yesterday, a very troubling TikTok video was shared with our leadership team. The video appears to show a teacher interrupting students during a moment of prayer," the statement said. "Upon receipt of the video, organizational and school leadership began immediately investigating the situation."
The name of the teacher wasn't released, but officials with the school said she has lost her job.
"Franklin Academy does not tolerate discriminatory behavior," the school statement read. "While we do not discuss personnel matters, we can share with you that the teacher in question is no longer a member of the Franklin Academy staff."

Her bigoted comments caused her to be fired and they were based on her intolerant religious beliefs as shown by her own comments.
@no1marauder saidSo if the situation was reversed and Christian students occupied a Muslim teachers office, praying and singing hymns, and the teacher "referenced" Mohammed or Allah, what do you suppose might happen?

Seeing as how "Franklin Academy does not tolerate discriminatory behavior" the answer is (or should be) obvious. The teacher would be fired.
Or the students would be expelled, take your pick.
@kilroy70 saidIs there any reason to believe anything would have been different in your hypothetical? Or is this just more pretending that Christians are sooooooooooo discriminated against in the US?

As of yet, I know of no evidence the students did anything wrong.
@booger saidSchools have serious budget limitations which incentivizes them to schedule rooms for time periods. Oftentimes teachers and administrators don't have personal classrooms or offices but rooms are assigned temporarily to people as needed.
@kevcvs57
If it wasn't her office and it was a designated room for fake believe time, then yes she was out of line.
If it was her personal office then it was a complete set up.
Does anyone actually know the truth about whose office it is or are we speculating?
The question at this time is why were the students praying in that room? Is it because they had permission to use it as a prayer space at that time or was it some sort of protest?
@no1marauder saidNo, no, you misunderstand... it's quite the opposite!

A group of innocent Muslim children just happened to stumble into a teachers office when it was time for them to practice their religious rituals. It wasn't a planned occupation of the teachers office, and the teacher being Christian was just an unfortunate coincidence... the little Muslim children meant no harm.
You believe in coincidences, don't you?
By the way, I'm assuming you've been to college. Have you ever met with a teacher in his/her office? If not then perhaps you didn't know a teachers office is not designated as a common area. I'm also assuming you know what "a common area" is.
@kilroy70 saidWhen right wingers don't like the facts, they just make s*** up.

Show me somewhere, anywhere in the articles that say the students didn't have permission to be where they were.
I'll wait.
The school is the one who makes office space available for teachers and they can allow it to be used for other purposes if they so decide The fact that the teacher was fired might be a clue that she, not the students, acted improperly.
@no1marauder
You're just another follower. It wouldn't matter the situation. If it's a leftist anti american ideal you support it regardless of the facts.
The right picks and chooses what they feel is best. The left just follows along. You're all sheep.
@booger saidOK:
@no1marauder
Show me something that proves they had permission.
"In the comments section, the account that posted the video stated: "To clear up, we asked two teachers if we can go pray and they allowed us into the room that we were in."
"Everything was fine until she walked in," the comment continues."

@no1marauder
They allowed them to go into a teacher's office and the two teachers who gave permission were not the teachers whose office it was.
Clearly the two teachers wanted to start something.
Strange coincidence they were recording it no?
@jj-adams saidYou ever have an “office” as a teacher?
She didn't like them coming into her office and using their prayer mats to pray towards Mecca or whatever, and I don't blame her:

For the one hour of prep time a teacher gets per day my school had a desk in a common room and if you were high status you might have your own classroom. Can you imagine how much space it would take for every teacher to have a personal office? Universities aren’t like elementary schools in that respect.
