Basically, right wingers here are trying to change the subject and try to blame the students for doing something wrong rather than the teacher who made the bigoted comments. This fails for two reasons (though the first isn't really relevant):

1. There is no actual evidence they've produced that the student did anything wrong; the only source that we have said the stude ...[text shortened]... gate nor excuse the teachers' actions and comments towards them. And that is what she was fired for.

Satanism is a form of religion. Would your comments be the same if they were doing Satanism, which involves very loud undecipherable chanting, enclosed flames, and animals, together with just amazing costumes? Would teachers have a right to put a time-limit on it, I go to a lot of them, some of them last 6 hours.

Common sense is about to disappear. All AvJoe has to sell now is logic and rationale........

If it was a group of Christian kids invading her office for a prayer session and she kicked them out, the crowd here would be 100% behind her, blabbering about separation of church/state and all that jazz.

Left leaning reporters and news commentators would probably salivate over such a story, and want report on it week after week after week... up until the 2024 election.

If they were college kids I would have come to this conclusion much sooner. With high school kids it could go either way, but I'm convinced now that the teacher in question was trolled. So congratulations, your side won this little highly reported battle.

They had no reason to take over her office with their prayer mats and magic show.
They set a trap and the teacher stepped into it.
It's what they wanted, it was their goal for it to happen so they could cry and play at being a victim of Evil White Western Christian hegemony, or whatever. .

There isn't a shred of evidence supporting your ridiculous conspiracy theory and it really doesn't make any sense; why would anyone think that the teacher would make bigoted comments in response to such an innocuous thing as a few students praying? Unless, of course, she had made such comments to students before, but there's no evidence of that and if she had, she should have been terminated even before this incident.
