Could have been 2 majors for him.
What are you talking about? When Tiger missed the cut in the U.S. Open it was the biggest news in sports!
Originally posted by BridgePlayerWe can agree on one thing, Mickelson should have won it. But like so many tmes in the past he just sort of self-destructed.

I already gave the reason that Tiger usually has more wins. Why don't you check out how many tournaments played by the top guys every season. He could wind up having the most wins this season if he goes back to playing more tournaments than everyone else.
Originally posted by UllrNo I am definately not reaching. The only reason I know this is true is because I play fantasy golf every year. And when I select my A group golfer, atleast in previous years, Tiger was entered in tournaments that the top guys werent playing in and winning them. This year he has only played like 9 tourneys so its hard to compare since everyone else is in the 14-17 range. While Tigers two other wins this year came at smaller tournmanets, people like Mickleson and VJ were there. One of his wins I beilieve was in a three person playoff against nobodies, but a few top guys were there and didnt make it in to that playoff.

Originally posted by BridgePlayerRight so he's played in fewer tournaments this year than the other top guys yet he's won more tournaments. You're not exactly making your case.

Originally posted by sasquatch672I love these made up stats :-D. Like, while playing on tuesdays wearing red socks on that day Phil Mickelson averages 8 under par. Or, when batting in thursday night games, when his wife is in the stands, Bonds is batting .869, with runners in scoring position. I bet I could come up with some stuff for any golfer using those type of stats. Phil Mickelson has not lost a major when he has atleast shared the lead going into Sunday if it has rained that weekend. lol. I also love when we talk clutch how everyone can only refer to one tournament.
I gotta tell ya bud...you have NO idea - absolutely none whatsoever - what you're talking about.
Tiger only plays once every third week or so. It's been that way for a long time.
Tiger Woods is not a clutch golfer? Tiger Woods is not a clutch golfer.
Tiger Woods has entered thirty-nine major championships in his professional career. He ...[text shortened]... on Sunday majors?
Are you trying to josh us? C'mon. What's the joke here?
Now lets talk Brittish Open. Tiger only played driver off the tee one time in 72 holes because he has pretty bad problems using his driver, which will definately be shown in the PGA Championship where he will have no choice but to use it.
I would say that the golfer in the world currently is either Els, Woods or Mickleson.
The difference is that Tiger has got balls of steel. If you have a Diego Maradona Putt (A horrible little five footer) you would put your money on the Tiger over the other two on any course in the world.
Tiger does not lack bottle - if he leads after round 3 he wins.
