If movies like Lord of the Rings: Return of the King can win best picture, I have trouble seeing why it wouldn't be Oscar material.
It was a good well-rounded film - good acting, good plot, good music, good script. But nothing really stood out to me as exceptional. I wouldn't rank it among the best I've ever seen.

I saw 7 or 8 of the nominees and frankly found the weakest of them to be the Facebook movie.
