I watched an old movie last night.
Inherit the Wind. Spencer Tracy in 1960. Evolution on trial.

Good movie. Found myself trying to contemplate the notion that people have advanced from the first half of the 20th century.
Unfortunately, we underestimate the power of mass stupidity.

Now that you saw the movie, read the actual transcripts of the trial.
Compare the screenplay to actual proceedings.

Filter out some of the Hollywood screenplay hype to get at the actual testimony and history.
