So god who is all powerful and all knowing could only come up with two options : Brutally murder his innocent son , or brutally torture all of humanity (whom he is supposed to love ) ? Only those two options ? He couldn't have come up with anything other than that ? His hands were tied , he was bound by the fine print in the contract , limited by someth ...[text shortened]... ach is definitely the way to go , you're saying .
Do you ever stop and listen to yourself ?
Before CHRIST began HIS ministry who came to tempt HIM? Satan! MATTHEW 4:1-11

At one time believers were unbelievers. We said the same things to believers that are being said on this and other websites. Something happenened in our lives that allowed us to stop being stubborn and listen. We were allowed even through all the hurt and pain that, may have been in our life, we were able to hear that someone could heal us. Originally posted by BigDoggProblemYou are close, somewhat. Yes all sin must be destroyed. But why should GOD accept sin? Why should a GOD thats hates the very act of sin, accept it? Why can not humans accept GOD without sinning?
Nobody makes God kill anyone. He is the one with the hangup about sins. God could choose to accept humans despite their sin.
If it is really true that Jesus was innocent and mankind guilty, and all sin must be punished by death and/or eternal torture, then there is no just choice but to destroy humanity. Any other choice is a perversion of justice. It is pointless to say God is without sin when he murders his own son.
Originally posted by BigDoggProblemGOD does not sin, nor will he accept sin in any form. Are you saying that GOD, should allow sin to run wild? When would you stop Sin? When would you stop a murderer, after he has killed you?
So you admit that God himself sins, yet he exempts himself from his own rules? And has the audacity to cast humans into hell because they commit far lesser sins than murder?
Ridiculous.

So this here perfert God made all us flawed people so he could have us kill his son so the he wouldnt have to send us to the hell he made to put us flawed people in?
That's just perfect!
Man chose to be flawed. GENESIS 3:1-13

Do you want to be a robot, which has set duties, and cannot think for its self? Who is progamed to what ever it is told? Such as a computer which has to be pprogramed to fucntion?
Or would you rather be able to think for yourself? To be able to chose your own thoughts, to chose your own path in life?
Which you rather be the computer or the programer?
This is a debate forum, so debate! This is not a forum to preach in, so do not preach!
You will never persuade anyone to follow god because you don't have the intelligence to even understand what it means. You are not carrying the truth to the masses, you are alienating them, but once again you are not blessed with the faculties to understand this.
Farewell, may you continue to skirt the issue for many years to come.

I don't know what terrible lives you led or what has been done to you....abuse or what have you that has lead you to your cult that save you from your past...... I don't care. Just shut the hell up.

God did not make a flawed species.

GOD gave man a choice, in the garden of Eden. HE could have made us like the animals, created to be obedient without question. GOD punished man for his sin, of eating the fruit. He punished the woman, for being tricked. Why did HE punish the serpent? GENESIS 3:11-19
You want man to be found faulty, but have you ever looked at sin, from GOD'S point of view?
God sent christ to the earth knowing full well he would die. Nobody could have killed christ unless god allowed it. Therefore, he is culpable.
"You want man to be found faulty, but have you ever looked at sin, from GOD'S point of view?"
My main point is that god is also faulty. He violates the very laws he imposes on others. God's point of view should be that he is in no position to make judgements on the wrongs of others when he sentences his own son to die. Anything else is hypocrisy.

I don't care to set up an actual equation, but I bet that a human is more likely to win several lotteries in his lifetime than to make it through life without committing a sin.
