So. They can kill me or make me sick by polluting the environment, the place I live in, and I have no right to do anything about it.

Man, you are full of crap.

I think college is overrated though, especially now, since it makes you a moron.
Coming from the generation that punched a bloody great hole in the ozone layer, I'm not taking this to be too much of a big insult.

Seriously man, you've got issues. Get counseling - I'm afraid you might kill someone if you don't.

I have to agree with scottishinnz; I think changes could result in more new jobs (research, construction, etc.) than lost jobs. Who knows, maybe some good ole Halliburton workers might get laid off... =)

Heaven forbid we would have to have a war before that happened.

Clearly what you're describing is working-class. 😕

The middle class generally have more education for them to use in getting a new job, the working class have more trouble in doing this; your title is erroneous.
different countries differentiate these in different ways.

wikipedia describes the difference.

Nah those regulators can go and get bent with their paranoid delusions and leave the corporations to do the rig ...[text shortened]... if they are selling dud products the consumer is smart enough to choose something else. Right!?
There's no way I'm at peace - therefore - not in denial.

"tobacco would give you cancer."

Not even the state mandated graffiti on cigarette packets makes such an exagerated claim. More likely something like "Increase the risk of etc"

Little wonder legitimate graffiti laws carry such little weight when gummint forces private companies to deface their product.

and it's screwing over the middle class...
last tuesday, the Supreme Court made a decision which will allow the EPA to have more control over reducing pollution...
since the leaders of the EPA are appointed, not elected, they have no worries about mandating to car companies that they be ...[text shortened]... ave a larger say in the acts the Agency wants to employ?
I believe yes
any other thoughts?
Government should do those things the market does not do well or does not do at all. Protecting the environment is one of those things.

Even with 36,000 Ohioans thrown out of work, unemployment rates remain stable. Funny how people always manage to find ways to make a living.

I read the United States one and I still got the feeling that miners are working class, even more so.

This extract the most:

"the working class has little economic security and is extremely susceptible to fluctuations in the economy. Currently out-sourcing and cost-cutting related lay-offs are much more a pressing issues for persons of this class, than in the higher classes."

should americans get the opportunity to elect these EPA officials, or at least have a larger say in the acts the Agency wants to employ?

you must know the environment is screwed either way.as long as corperation exist ,and it always will.
the world is changing and or will be forced to change in order to save itself. job loss is just a standard casualty, among even larger casualties like deforestation depleting ozone etc.
