I'm sorry, I don't know what a blob baby is. You'll have to explain that in more detail because I've never heard of that. I have heard many say, and I agree, that a pregnancy up until there is an embryo (around two months) is nothing but a blob of cells; which it is.

Did it start breathing and become alive when it was born? Or, was it a still-birth? If it started breathing and living after birth, then yes, it's a baby.
I think #2 is a baby if he has the same history as #1.

I think you may be reading into what I have written by things other pro-choice people have stated over time. I personally find the abortion laws in Russia the best (I hate to say); "abortion is legal in Russia up to three months of a pregnancy; or for medical conditions after that.
However, it is none of my business what a woman chooses; and, I think they should always have their rights to choose. Especially with such a delicate PERSONAL matter. 🙂
