Fascism is a spectrum of policies.
For example.
Geert Wilders is a fascist. Within the confines of his own political party. But he has to adhere to Dutch law, which makes him not a fascist within the spectrum of Dutch politics. So, technically a fascist wannabe.
Stalin and Putin silence journalists. Doesn’t make them fascists.
When you start adding the power structure of their political parties into the mix, the fascist-dial starts moving to the right. When you add nationalism… and then oligarchy loyal to “the party” … yeah… then it starts to become clearer. Take away unions (or corrupt them) and remove any form of worker’s control over production (adding to the previously mentioned points)… then it’s a fascist.
