Russia did not invade Finland, the USSR did and we all know what an a hole Stalin was.
@AThousandYoung
Oh, it was Imperial Russia. I stand corrected, but just as bad.
Ukraine used to be part of the Russian Empire. Long history there.
@metal-brain saidYeah a long history of invasion, attempted genocide and political suppression. I think Ukraine is done with it son.

Ukraine was taken over many times besides Russia. But you don't give a crap about actual history in your fever to promote your real boss Putin and your hatred of US and your love of communism. Great work comrade.
@sonhouse saidImperialists invade countries. Imagine that.

Now what about American imperialism? Our government invaded Syria and is still occupying it. Don't you feel bad?

A very good BBC article, explaining in some detail (referring to things they can’t show as well) the current situation in Ukraine.
The summary is that Russia is on the back-foot, but Ukraine’s gains are not as large as they hoped.
@Metal-Brain
You LOVE to twist words. She SAID MORE THAN PRAVDA. Pravda lies probably more than even Fox News or NewsMax.
I fully expect an explosion from you since you are an arm of Russian propaganda.
@metal-brain saidThe BBC’s international journalism is of excellent quality.

Why is Ukraine torturing journalists?

Did the BBC report it?
@no1marauder saidBiden said the same thing. Is sending them more weapons going to make it happen any sooner? A negotiated settlement is going to happen. It is just a question of when. Do you want it to happen sooner or later?
I have said for a long time I preferred a negotiated settlement which respects self-determination and addresses the security concerns of both nations.
I don't see how sudden withdrawal of Western military support would make that more likely at this point, however.
