so where are you, you little metaphorical Iran?
I'm ordering gasoline. In direct contradiction to U.N. resolutions to the contrary.

Gee, I wonder what could have happened in 2003 that made Iran decide to hold off on developement?
On the contrary - I think the whole world should quake in terror if US intelligence suggests Iran aren't trying to develop nuclear (or new-kew-lerr as GWB & most eight-year-olds mistakenly pronounce it) weaponry.

If we weren't paranoid before we should be now!
Run to the hills I tells ya!!11!!!1!

(bomb Iran first though - better to be safe than sorry) 😉

Looky here!

http://www.nysun.com/article/67479

Vann Van Diepen, one of the estimate's main authors, has spent the last five years trying to get America to accept Iran's right to enrich uranium.

So now we've got one of the three main authors that, with absolutely no expertise in the ME, who lied to Congress in the middle of wwriting the report and another who's beliefs are clearly opposite of that of the administration and most of America.

The third is Brill who was formerly the US ambassador to the IAEA and never did much of anything while there.

Rival contender Senator Barack Obama said that Mr Bush "will not let facts get in the way of his ideology... and that's been the problem with their [the Republicans] foreign policy generally."

Does the current American administration have any credibility left at all?
Well I hope the info is correct in that Iran isn't pursuing a nuke. If not then I hope your home town is the first target.

No, he's in great mood. Just because he hopes the nay sayers get nuked doesn't mean he's in a bad mood.

How could anyone think that Iran would not want a Nuclear Weapon. They're only surrounded on all side by nations with such weapons. You've got to be eating cuckoo for Coco Puffs for breakfast.

Esoteric has his head so far up he needs a glass belly button to see.

So ... Iran supposedly wants nuclear weapons because they're surrounded by them ... but they're not allowed to have them according to two of those countries who have them ... is that right?

That is at best a very premature and rather naive conclusion.

This administration ...[text shortened]... the ball here: bush, cheney and all involved are dredging the desperate depths of insanity.
It will be a surprise for you to see how the next President of the United States, who will be a democrat, will look at this situation.

I was responding to Esoterics moronic belief that Iran is not, or does not, want to develope a nuclear weapon. They'd be nuts not to want such a weapon. The fact that the US doesn't want them to have one ....well, they'll just have to deal with it.

Of course Iran wants nuclear weapons. But seeing as you are so incredibly stupid and play the man instead of the argument you fail to see the point of my post.

Bush was preparing to go to war based on information he was being “given” that Iran was trying to make a nuclear weapon. Then his agency’s released a report saying they weren’t. So was Bush lying or did his agency all of a sudden change its mind?

So you think Iran should have nukes? What do they put in the water in OZ to make you and esoteric come up with these stupid ideas?

So, what is the argument i fail to see. Be specific. I believe you were trying to say that bush wants to go to war with IRAN because he says Iran is building a nuclear weapon, even though his "AGENCY" says Iran is not building such a weapon. Who cares who's lying? The Fact is that IRAN IS trying to build a nuclear weapon. You even agree they want one. Unfortunatly their facilities will have to be taken out. Case closed.
