You got THAT one right. You could care less about the lives lost, just another number.
And the way you see it, NOTHING bad can come out of Trump. ONLY good. He is your god king and that is that.

So choke on it, we will kick his sorry ugly ass out in November.
8000 people die everyday in this country.

Get a grip.

You continue to prove my point mr empathic.
You just lump those who die from cancer, auto accidents, shootings which for the most part cannot be stopped with those who die for the lack of ventilators.

Smooth move.

Is there a single person in the US who died due to lack of ventilator availability?

Interesting read

https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-ventilators-some-doctors-try-reduce-use-new-york-death-rate-2020-4

Experts have said that some 40% to 50% of patients with severe respiratory issues die while on ventilators, the AP reported.

New York City officials have said at least 80% of coronavirus patients who were put on ventilators there ultimately died, the AP reported. New York state has the most confirmed coronavirus cases and deaths in the US

You are not telling us anything we didn't already know. Of COURSE you didn't know.
It is because of the viscous attack C19 does in the lungs where a hyper response takes place by the body's own Immune system and as a result the lungs basically shut down and what little is left functioning gets some help from the ventilators and at that stage more like 100% will die without vents so they save between 20 and 50% of those who would have certainly died without that help.
That is why I am so fired up about the corruption of Trump LITERALLY playing with people's lives. Trump has ZERO empathy and is a bully politician playing favorites with his buddies and screws his enemies no matter WHAT the issue.
He NEVER pays his bills, he still owes a LOT of money to some of his architects for some building designs.
But you probably never heard THAT story or any of the other corruptions of Trump.
You have a deaf ear to ANY of that.

New? Did you read the article? Here is new

Dr. Joseph Habboushe, an emergency-medicine doctor in Manhattan, told the AP that until a few weeks ago, it was routine in the city to place particularly ill coronavirus patients on ventilators. Now doctors are increasingly trying other treatments.

"If we're able to make them better without intubating them," Habboushe said, "they are more likely to have a better outcome — we think."

I am not seeing any talk about ventilators anymore.

What about the ventilators? Why the silence on ventilators? The government had to force companies to make ventilators, but now that they are still getting ready to put them into production, no need for ventilators.

Looks like a bunch of wasted money and man hours.
I would listen to the doctors who are risking their lives
I have no use for people like you who think it's some sort of conspiracy against trump
shame on you and your ilk

Invasive ventilation is bad news, doctors will not do it unless absolutely necessary. What the doctor you're citing is probably referring to is that as the medical community gain experience working with covid-19 patients they get better judgement about who to use it on. Outcomes are better for patients for whom it can be avoided for fairly obvious reasons. It eliminates the risk of opportunistic bacterial infection and the entire process requires that the patient is heavily sedated. This does not mean that extra ventilators are not needed.
