First of all, assault weapons are fully automatic and are for the military.
the AR-15 is not fully automatic, nor is it an assault weapon. But it does sound scary, eh?

You see… I live in a country where we tightly regulate gun ownership and thereby minimise the likelihood of demented morons venting their pent up rage on schoolchildren by shooting them dead with deadly weapons and then we don’t have to try to justify it by arguing wether or not the weapon used was an “assault weapon”.

KellyJay has asserted that no one has restricted and regulated bows & arrows … and as that is a deadly weapon then guns shouldn’t be restricted and regulated either.

What with that intellectual power-argument AND now Earl of Trump explaining that the latest weapon-of-choice for child murder isn’t actually an “assault rifle”, I feel almost convinced.
