It is not YOUR tax money. When you pay your tax (IF you pay your tax), that money now belongs to the People. Our representatives in government (including the president) pay that money out on our behalf. A full half of this country (this is why it's not YOUR tax money) believes in the president's role to uphold the Constitution's precepts as laid out in the preamble. The Constitution, as well as US law, allows him to do this. He is in no way an authoritarian on a level with Trump, friend to dictators. You even support the Supreme Court's path to help him see his goals through, as laid out perfectly in Project 2025, as lacking in ethics as that has been.
