Countries could still have their own identity, just like counties or towns have. Everyone would be free to travell accross from one to another no passport controls.
Tax payers could earn points for each of the months that they've paid into the system and use those points when they need them, like to use the NHS (which in my utpoia would be accross the globe).

What do you think? 🙂
This is the Marxist's and Democrats' wet dream. No boarders, no distinctions. What if the "harmonized" world isn't to your liking? Where do you go? You can't go to America, because now, it's pretty much like every other country. You can't go to China, because you didn't like China in the first place. So where do you go? The moon?

Umm both are the same I guess, and a hard question to answer.
The govenments themselves would be in charge of spending the taxes on keeping the place safe. They'd have no right to the land.
Most land is already owned by someone I think- but that is part of the problem.

Umm- any ideas?
The U.S. federal government owns huge swathes of land in this country, which puts it off-limits to development. In the cities, if some big corporation, sports team or condominium builder wants your property, they go to the local zoning board and have your house condemned and then take it. Trust me, government is not a good steward of the land -- that's why property rights matter.

Why wouldn't you like it? It's not like you'd be stuck in a counrty that restricted your movements or kept you in.
The climet? Just go where you want to go, no boarders, think of the fredom. If your crop dies from drought or your goats have no grass you just move. What's not to like?

When people own property, they are inclined to take care of it and put it to its best use. A case in point is Venezuela. After Chavez nationalized the oil industry (in other words, stole the property of the oil companies), oil production decreased in that country by about 33%.

I agree the govenment can't have control of land. Control of taxes is plenty. So who should or as RedM says do you think it best of noone dose?

Ok but who decides about 'holy' places?

I for one am against everything yo it's me is suggesting here.

If people lived in communities where labour and its rewards are shared
equally between its members, then that community will prosper and
that's a threat to me. See, I'm lazy. I don't like to work much. So, what I
do is, I use every opportunity I can get to dupe my fellow (wo)man
into giving me more than I really deserve considering the amount of
time and energy I put into it. That way, I can point at various laws and
regulations which clearly justifies my ridiculous wealth in comparison to
the actual efforts I put into it, while others work real hard and barely
survive. In my eyes, that's a fair and just system because the real
suckers live in other countries where they've chosen to live the way
they do. So, I wouldn't want that communist-like kind of thinking that yo
it's me is suggesting. Hell no! I'm lazy and I have as much right to
property and wealth as the hard working. In fact, I have more right to it
by virtue of me being obviously smarter than the hard worker.

I also don't like what she's suggesting because if human rights are
indeed implemented on a universal scale, then there will be no room for
me to abuse other people, which is, you know, what I do for fun while at
the same time solidifying my undeserved political and social power.
Where else will I get my kicks and gain more control in the process?

Furthermore, what she's suggesting is a society where people will have
equal rights to resources and land, and I would presume equal rights to
the human knowledge; education. Oh GOD! Oh GOD! Oh my GOD! That's
not a good thing at all! If people are educated and in understanding
that what's good for the community is good for themselves as long as
the community maintain its purity in the equal rights to property and
knowledge, then again, that will undermine the very foundation of fear,
misinformation and lazyness on which my entire control apparatus work!

!!!

No, I don't like it. Yo it's me? What you're suggesting can't happen,
because it goes against everything I need to lead a fullfilling and lazy
life. That's right! Go elsewhere with your crazy ideas! Like China or
something! Shooo! 😠

It's easier to beat that strawman, isn't it?

Well, keep pounding I guess.

I never really understood what that means. Anyhow, I'm just expressing my
opinion. I'm not giving a for or against argument, because debate is
obviously not my thing. I know what I like and what I don't like, and I want
the world to be such that it suites my likes. You got a problem with that?

What I understand from your post;
Being clever gives you the right to be lazy.
Poor countries made themselves that way.
Everyone being equally educated would threaten your self worth.
You enjoy being more equal then those around you.

??

That about right?

Well I say to you;
Being clever gives you responsability to guide those less lucky.
Poor countries sometimes have good reasurces in their land but also greedy, clever people who decided that gave them the right to be lazy. 😉
Everyone being equally educated means you will have less preasure on you to guide them.
I suspect you don't, not really. I suspect you feel bad when you buy those cheap goods becasue you know they came at a high price of one childhood.

Busted. 😳

So, you tell me, what can I do about it but keep the uneducated
uneducated and the worker happy in the knowledge that his/her strife is not
for nothing. Without me, society simply wouldn't work. Can't they see that?
Education will prevent them from seeing that. That's why I'm against equal
rights to property and education.

You understand, don't you? Or are you too educated?

Perhaps I'm not educated enough becasue that isn't making much sense to me. Everyone being educated is a good thing, everyone having their own space to raise a family and plant a few vegies is wonderful. Everyone realising possision of things is less important then the workers childhood, even if they'll never meet that child is a really good thing.

Without you society would carry on much as it dose now you are not more or less important then every other splendid bugger on this green Earth.

There's no reason why people wouldn't work for the common good.
But they never have done so except in small groups with a common interest, usually religious, and then only for a relatively short while before falling out with one another. People are selfish by nature and
'latge-scale' communism is unworkable.
