Because a good chunk of the conservative base (possibly 50% ) has been filled with the KoolAid that God brought Trump to America.
Trump is viewed as a Messiah to America. And God has plans for America.
That puts Democracy in direct conflict with God's plans.

I think it's easier for the evangelical and religious right to stick with the stolen election narrative than it is to face the hard question.
