ALLOWED IT TO SPREAD. That is exactly what TRUMP did and BTW the deaths in the US far outnumber those in China, even allowing for suppression by the government.
If anything OUT numbers are way too soft, it could be a quarter million dead already but THAT being suppressed just like Trump SAID he would do on TV.

He also knew how deadly it was in FEBRUARY but did nothing but say it will go away to zero soon.
Instead of starting a national leadership and making a Manhattan size project out of getting companies to make PPE and such, instead saying it is up to the individual states to handle the virus, "I am not the nations store clerk'.
AND had FEMA in a bidding war with the states and they secretly stole PPE bought and paid for by states and hauled off to DC warehouses.
THAT is not leadership, as much as you might puke out your alternate universe tales.

Evidence...? how about proof, and there are so many ways to show it.

How about -
Sweden has never had lockdowns, social distancing, and mask wearing rules.
Yet they have fewer deaths/million population than the USA, who has had all of the above.

It isn't the same strain of the virus.
