@earl-of-trumps saidI suppose it hangs on what is meant by ‘war breaking out’ I don’t believe the UK ( for good or bad ) will go to war with China over Taiwan but if the US puts its usual allies in a position of having to choose a side then I guess we’ll be at war with China and all the horrors that will follow from that.
The Brits have more familiarity with the Chinese and Indians than most Western nations.
That is part of the reason why I think the Brits will get involved. But we'll see. Plenty of time, and it may not happen anyway.
@earl-of-trumps saidI was gonna say it’s hard to have a conversation with a jackhammer just outside the window, Same in the ‘UK whitewashes etc’ thread it’s a shame the mods don’t look out for that sort of antisocial behaviour. But hey I’m putting away the monkey nuts in the hope it’ll get bored.
Kev...
Some egocentric, wrongful posters will go to great lengths to prove some inappreciable point,
and so, in the process, totally blow the thread away and destroy the thrust of an otherwise good thread.
What a freekin' turkey. Despicable.
This may give us some idea how the US government under Joe Biden feel about it.
