@mike69 saidHe would LOVE to be in that role. I would like to monitor your exchanges.
It was frustrating, I was just wanting to discuss it with him because it didn’t make any sense to me. I wasn’t being rude or anything just curious? By reading his comments and his act of all knowledgeable on the subjects in this forum with professional looking profile picture to match, I just figured he would be the person to ask for maybe something I was truly missing. The ...[text shortened]... so much I see out there in popular land I don’t get I was just needing some re-education for help.
@no1marauder saidBy that definition, property is an artefact of complex societies which already implement such concepts as law and enforceable contracts. Ownership of land clearly arises only in the context of settled agrarian societies. Though I suppose one could argue that a farmer is entitled only to the fruit of his labor, namely the crop he tends, not to the ground underneath it. Nomads are a different case; they have possessions but not property. Among nomads, it makes no sense for one person to hoard anything, such as spear points or tent poles; if he were to do so, he would harm himself as much as everyone else in his tribe, and he would have no benefit for himself by preventing the hunters from having any spear points. Hoarding is completely counter-productive among nomads. But once there is a settled community, hoarding and cornering the market on some commodity becomes a possibility without immediately detrimental consequences for the hoarder himself. I don’t see property itself as the fundamentally problematic issue, but hoarding. Taken to extremes, something like 1% of the people on Earth own something like 60% or maybe more of the world’s total wealth (I don’t have the exact statistics to hand, but the numbers are very skewed); but as Native American wisdom has it, you can’t eat money.
Anarchists prefer the word "possession" to "personal property" but the basic gist is the same:
"Anarchists define "private property" (or just "property," for short) as state-protected monopolies of certain objects or privileges which are used to exploit others. "Possession," on the other hand, is ownership of things that are not used to exploit others (e.g. a car, a re ...[text shortened]... 's own profit, it is property."

@mott-the-hoople saidReal bad. Every treaty the White man signed with the Natives, the White man broke. And the money, they still can’t eat. Oh well, they got a truck named after them: Jeep Cherokee. Is that some consolation?

@moonbus saidYou speak here of a wrong, a specific treaty violation, and there are atrocities and murders,...life is not fair, and it was what it was.

You are speaking facts, but I am asking you and Marauder, what would have been a better way of evolvement of the North American continent when the Indians were faced with men of different countries and cultures? Are y'all saying the we should have turned around and sailed away? And can we stipulate that he Indians had no interest in matriculating this new culture with theirs. Couldn't speak the language, such as that.

Until you find yourself being trampled underfoot by those stronger than you. Then you start whining "ITS NOT FAIR"

That I was not prepared for a legal activity, the result of which was not comfortable to me? And do you think that I should say ‘not fair’, because that is all that liberals know, is to say not fair., But it was fair, don’t you see?
We conservatives do not say not fair. We dust ourselves off, and get along without the government. You people would be begging on the Capitol steps of the government, and may even get arrested for loitering there.

@mott-the-hoople saidNot at all I just want it on the record for when you find yourself being trod underfoot. I think you’re the one who keeps pointing out that your side is inevitably going to lose aren’t you?

@athousandyoung saidYes, I am the one who has predicted the future. You will prevail as do the hyenas continuing to beat a zebra down for the kill. We do not know how to have a continuous fight-you-off program , as we are too busy paying taxes, etc to support you all. So with a thousand cuts, you will chip away at our civilized society.

I would not be surprised if you made a muslim bake a cake showing unnatural copulatioon.
