My "experience" is that the teachers unions don't care one whit about the students except to hold them up and say: See, if you don't throw more money into education and build more multi-million dollar facilities and give us more "training" and time off and block scheduling and lower student-to-teacher ratios, who knows how bad public education will be? Teachers unions are the problem, not the solution. The sooner there is completion in education, the better off everyone will be.
