And what exactly are you, Duchess...

A hypocritical bigoted Chinese who apparently likes to deny that Chinese can be racist.

I’ve never said Scots can’t be racist.
They certainly discriminate.

It bloody well is not similar.
What the F’s wrong with you!

Imperialism was forwarded and rewarded the rich.
The Anschluss was an accepted means to an end by an unproven amount of support; but generally speaking, the working classes weren’t too against it.

A great many Scots don’t want to be called British either.

My comment wouldn't make sense If I was conflating "British" with "English". Scotland is part of the UK: I was saying that Scots identify much more strongly as Scots than as part of the UK, especially older Scottish citizens.

This is also the case for the English, but for obvious reasons, there's more weight in the Scots having that strong sense of nationalism.

I identify equally as an Englishman, a Brit, and a European.

Edit: To head off any confusion, we left the EU, not Europe.

Well, there's more, shall we say, "baggage", in this union for the Scots than the British.

Why do all our western/white/European heroes have to be picture perfect plaster saints with no faults?
They are just human after all, why try to destroy their place in history by magnifying their warts and belittling their accomplishments?
You want to play the blame game let's talk about some of of the "heroes" of the left.

I meant, more specifically, Britain. I work from home and sometimes rush posts like I did here.
