Well we got there 🙂 - thank you for the people taking time to read the fantastic pieces of writing provided by the talented writers on this website - it has been another enjoyable competition.

Below are the results of the 11 entries:

11th - Coming Home isn't always welcome (4 points)
10th - The Three Kings (7 points)
9th* (equal with 10th but more votes) - The Phone Call (7 points)
8th - 2031: A Space Odyssey (8 points)
7th - The Butterfly (12 points)
6th - Billy (14 points)
5th - Castle (15 points)
4th - remmino3 (16 points)

now for the top three and the authors announced

By my count, Castle and Remmieno3 are tied for 4th-5th with 16 points.

I'll gladly take my eighth place ribbon in this field of writers. 🙂

I'd like to thank my parents and my agent. Insurance agent, that is.

But most of all I would like to thank the man himself, our member RJHinds. Mr. Hinds is confident that he knows the mind of Almighty God, and the way God gets things done. That made it fun to imagine a Hinds-like character morphing into an intelligence who thinks he just might be Jehovah God. Hence the quote from Genesis 1:31 at the end.

All in the spirit of good fun, of course. 😏
