That's ok because I didn't post it to get recs. I recieved it from someone else and it touched my heart and thought it needed to be shared. As do all stories of faith and hope in human kindness. I only hope it touches a few other people as much as it touched me. Keep the stories of goodness alive. Keep the smiles of humanity shining brightly.

I personally "rec'd" the post because you took the liberty of sharing such a heart-felt story with the world.. whether its a copy & paste job or not, you posted a thread that is meaningful, rather than the millions of threads we see about cats, leopards and other time-wasting, idiotic comments that fester like cancer in these Forums..

Well done and keep up the good work!

Aw sucks Peachy you made me blush!

This is hopefully a reflection of the goodness that exists through the uniqely compassionate rhp community.

Even the seemingly heartless. 😉

It's a touching story, but I got it emailed to me about a week ago from one of my "I forward all spam" friends. Everything I get from him I tend to dispute as hoax... Nice sentiment though...

I guess we all have at least one of those spam factories in our circle of friends. 🙂

I'm willing to bet there are plenty more stories like this in each and every persons life. As it says we are always so eager to discuss and share in the bad things that happen but reluctant to share all the good. I would love to hear your stories of genuine kindness that you have witnessed or experienced. I know everyone has at least one.

Going for the "shock factor" is so lame.

Shock value? I take my sport seriously.

Actually patronising just irks me.
