Find your own voice and style in the forums.

Find a clan that interests you and join.

Never be timed out in a clan game, you play for the team.

Build your game load up slowly, especially watch tournaments they're 2 for 1.

Read the FAQ. Know what can get you banned. Learn how to use tags: [gid]xxxxxxx[/gid], etc.

One other thing, kiki46. There's an unpopular axiom worth pondering:

a fulfilled personal life, chess prowess and voluminous forum posting

are by degrees mutually exclusive. Everybody needs contact, warmth,

outlet for expertise, achievement and recognition. It's as common as

rain and basic as dirt. Forum is an alternative for chess mediocrity.
