The Ghost accepts your apology.

It wasn't an apology goad, just I should have said it differently than I did is all. 😉

I was at the front door gesturing him to come with me.
He didn't want to.
So I talked today with everyone who was there last night and apparently this guy does this a lot but I was the first to call him outside.
Not only that but I was a happy drunk and buying drinks for people with my winnings.

If we both agree to go outside it's a fight.
If I chased him out the back door it would be assault.
That means I would go to jail.

Either way it would be considered a drunken brawl and you would both wind up behind bars for the night!

Not necessarily.
It depends on the cops.
Chasing him down and beating him up would be a couple years in jail.
Two guys fighting outside happens all the time around these bars.

Why would you get two years in jail?

You sure he wouldn't have beaten you?

So the cops there handle situations differently for some people?

He took off...if I ran after him that's not a consensual fight. A consensual fight is not assault in Canada.
If I chased him down now that is now assault...yes it's serious.
Even if he won it would be me getting charged for running after him.
If we both agree to fight it's just a fight.
A night in the drunk tank or told to go home.

I am not so sure both of you being drunk neither one is thinking straight. Wonder if you would actually be up on charges. Of course I asked why you would get jail time, because if you happened to be breaking parole by out drinking, then two years easy I would say. I live in Canada to by the way! 😉 I think with clean records the Judge would pass it off as a drunken brawl, providing neither of you had records or previous assault charges. Possibly a fine for causing a disturbance in a public place, while intoxicated.

It seems to me that there are many individuals out there who are so offensive, arrogant, and full of themselves, that only a good ass kicking thrust upon them will solve their problem, and possibly have them look in the mirror to realize what a prick they've been to society, and maybe they'll change.

It isn't common but I had 1 vs 3 on the guy accused of raping my mates sister.
My mate hit him one time in the side of the head whilst he was walking backwards at the start of the home invasion. I then took over backed him into a wall in the hallway and hit him 1 time on the bridge of his broken nose, 2 black eyes and lump on the back of his head from the wall unconscious to the floor. You learn a lot in life but basically what I understand I did was increase the sex drive through TBI on a suspected rapist. In court it was said he was getting kicked on the ground and they believed this because of his injuries and hospitalization. It never happened but we got 6 months periodic detention... which was fun.

Violence is never the correct answer!
