It was pretty hard on the family. I still find myself looking at the spot where he used to lay. It was just at the top of the stairs where he could see all the doors and down the hall. In the end he was getting to be a pretty nervous reck and was breaking through windows during storms. I have little kids so it was time.

Back in his day he weighed in at 110 lbs and was as gentle as a lamb. Labs are the best all around dogs when you have kids IMO.
