Maybe get a nintendo wii, if you like video games they are supposed to be energetic; if not that maybe challenge yourself with those brain training games on the nintendo ds, or even simply getting a simple puzzle book.
Challenging yourself would seem to be the answer to me, even if you are challenging yourself whilst sitting on the sofa, its a start.
