I wanted to apologize to Tmetzler some days ago but I have been unable to because of my Forum ban. 🙁
However I accept that I was wrong to paste his private PM into a thread, I now know it is against the TOS, so I won't do such a thing again.
But the actual point I was raising I do not retract.
If members of the Cheat Police claim to be able to "Watch" people actively cheat, then this says many things about the state of the RHP community. Especially as the kangaroo court system allows a person with a good name, on this and other sites, to be publically shamed, without any defence. I do not know of any civilized country that finds people guilty without allowing them any feedback at all.
Many things don't add up
It is claimed that Ironman used a multi - processor set up - this has been denied by people who know him. Okay his friends may cover for him, but how do people on this site know his computer specifications without spying
I know at least 3 people (trustworthy) who have sat with Ironman in cyber cafes, in different countries and watched him move on RHP
I have had long and detailed chess discussions with him - he is highly knowledgeable and very dedicated guy. He isn't a chess player he is a chessaholic and a seriously great mind
OTB grades can bear little relevance to correspondence strength. For example my OTB grade is very similiar to Tebbs, yet we are seperated by hundreds of rating points here, why??
Well many reasons probably, who makes use of databases, books, who actually uses the time given to move?
Another example, when i played in the Kent leagues I often played an opponent who was graded within 2 or 3 points of me, honours pretty even with maybe a small edge to me over maybe a dozen games. Now he is (I think) British Correspondence Champion. I wouldn't come in the top 500!!
No one on this site who had a hand in banning Ironman know 100% that he cheated, they have just used probabilty based on the geekish reliance on software tools and chess engines.
Ironman, and others who have been banned may or may not have caused problems for this community, but I would sure as ice is cold prefer to play against them rather than the vindictive anoraks who spend hours looking at other games, not to enjoy or to learn but to try and find a match with some obscure engine that at worst shows that a given player can find moves equal in strength with an engine.
What a bunch of sad muppets, they should get a life and move out of the library. . . .

Anyway I had better make some moves - I expect Tmetzler- DTebb and their cheat police chums are "watching" me

The checking I've done myself backs up the Game Mods conclusions about Ironman, if you don't believe it's so do the work yourself.
