btw there's no 'technically' about it, he's sitting happily eating watermelon, is that not as free as you can get? so another boy wants to spend his life hating and belittling other boys because of their color of their skin, do you think the little boy cares as he sits quietly munching on his watermelon?

the color of their skin is in your eyes. ask a 5 year old what they see in that pic, you'll get a response of a boy peeing on another boy. no mention of black or white. this is now it should be.

Much of the bigotry can be symolized by the KKK.
Chicken and watermelon are also negative stereotypes
There is a disconnect in the forums that europeans don't have the same racial sensitivity as those of us who live in the US.
Those of us who live here need to accept the fact that europe is a good 20 or 30 years behind the US in race relations.
I was surprised by that fact when I saw how Tierry Henry was treated on the continent. Much the way Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron were treated in the 1950s, '60s, and '70s.
Those of you who live in europe need to understand that we take racism much more seriously here in the states and that certain images will provoke strong emotional reactions from us.
