LOL, my neighbors are total losers. One day, I came home to a toddler, about 2, attempting to release my dog from her pen outside. A baby! I had no idea where he had come from. I called the police. 10 minutes had passed since I'd arrived home. Before they showed up, my neighbor came out and said she had been frantic because her nephew had gotten out of the ...[text shortened]... hickens, especially a rooster who will just bring me more chicks...something I don't need.

that's mental about the 2 year ols though.. people like that shouldn't be allowed to have kids, seriously tests should be done, operations given and faces slapped. that's terrible... what if the kid did get the dog out and you hadn't gone home? twisted it they probably would have.

Chicken lovers rejoice! This is my chicken update, per many, many requests.
After the chickens were old enough, they were moved outdoors a few months back. All four were really fun to watch grow. They got really ugly for a while, but now I think they are quite pretty 🙂.
Their names are Stella, Poe, Alice and Aurora.
Chickens are interesting. T ...[text shortened]... heaven. :'(

Calm down there Ahab, it's the neighbor's fault for letting their dog run amuck.
Ahab (ā`hăb), d. c.853 B.C., king of Israel (c.874–c.853 B.C.), son and successor of Omri 1 King of Israel. He was a general in the army of Elah. 😉
I still say the dog requires shooting, it would be a just punishment!

Animals have no concept of right and wrong. The dog just acted like dogs do, on instinct. You can't take revenge on an animal. That's just all sorts of stupid.
If the dog is dangerous is it the owner's responsibility to ensure it hurts no one.
