well, no, not really. He VOICED CS, the whole series was 'played' by puppets. Very much a 'thing of its time', which WAS best part of 50 yrs ago

Made by Gerry Andersen and his wife Silvia who made/designed most of the costumes. Also, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Jo 90...

The 'real people' series he made were also superb; my favourite being UFO, in no small way due to the goergous Gabrielle Drake.
