if one reveres a genre of music so much to cover bob marley songs, to sit in session with bb king and then diss immigrants of color vehemently
how does one square this?
is it the impossible stacks of money that insulates him from the world?
brain damage from drug use?
plain old hypocrisy?
i am still conflicted, painfully so, i listen to his music daily and with every lick i remind myself that on some level he's a bastard
