Nothing gets folk peeping out from behind the sofa like a sinister puppet.
'In the dim light of the fading carnival, a malevolent figure emerged from behind the grinning clown....' you get the picture.
@the-gravedigger saidI'm not much of a horror writer.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI'm British and I'm proud of it
And preferably featuring cats.
I love my tea and hob nobs
I queue up for everything
And always mind the gap
I'm British and I'm polite
I say sorry all the time
I talk about the weather
And never make a fuss
I have a puss called fluffy
And I travel by red bus
I'm British and I'm quirky
I drive on the left side
I wear a hat and a coat
And carry an umbrella
I'm a really lovely fella
@ghost-of-a-duke saidTo be creative, invoke the help of the Muses, as they have inspired artists for as long as they were created by some of those very artists.

Just remember that genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration. Try using a Turkish bath to entice the genius in you to come forth, full steam.
