Unfortunately, due to geography, i don't get to see my family much. Guess i try and make up for it by buying something they really want.

A few years back, a neighbor gave me an easy, inexpensive homemade gift that I then turned around and made for a dozen or so of my out of state relatives, a few co-workers, etc. Everyone (including myself!) really seemed to appeciate something different, something thoughtfully homemade....and it went on to start an unexpected tradition in many of our families.
