Why can't Estate Agents speak English?? Almost every house's description I have seen recently contains the poor English along the lines of: lovely detached four bedroom property comprising of entrance hall, sitting room etc. etc.
Please can we teach them that the word comprise means consist of .

So how about "watching on"? If "to watch" means "to look on" then they're looking on on ...
I've noticed Americans like to add a preposition. We say "visit a friend", they say "visit with a friend". We say "close an account", they say "close out an account".
I've given up ranting about sloppy English, I just observe it now. Most people are almost unfamiliar with grammar nowadays. I BLAME THE EDUCATION SYSTEM!!!!
