I like doing a stir fry. Whatever meat is available cut up into bite sized bits and browned in olive oil. Add in this and that (herbs) and a cacophony of veggies, all served on a bed of rice and if available, some sake.πŸ‘
sound good, might give it a whirl, will any steak do?

I prefer GOADs,makes his own bread base, ends up as a deconstructed egg, cheese & tomato sarnie.
Mathews Cotswold Flour do a fabulous pizza flour. I started ordering their variety ranges during the crazy Covid year of loo roll & flour panic buying. I bake all my own bread now with Dove’s Organic Rye & Mathews Stoneground Wholegrain available in Tesco.

The “better” cuts are best, less work, when eating. Pork is good as is chicken or, well really any meat. Fish too but you have to make sure you don’t overcook. It’s a quick meal and easy meal.πŸ‘

I love slow roasted pork in a stir fry. Garlic, soy sauce and a bit of sweet chilli with the vegetables. Bean sprouts being the most important, you can't have a stir fry without bean sprouts.

In Peru there was always a woman at the market with an entire slow cooked pig, it was amazing on it's own or with the corn salad they had it with but in the stir fry... Incredible.

I wouldn't waste a quality piece of meat like a ribeye or sirloin in a stir fry. Of if you do, cook it separately then add it in at the end when ready to serve. Hard to cook a steak the way you like it in a stir fry.

Mine was meant to be a quick meal. Your slow cooking is great if the meat being used is of a lesser quality and time is not important.

Are your rounds of golf that long that you can't take a few hours to slow cook a bit of pork? 😎

They 🏌️‍♂️often do take a few hours, if you add in the 19th hole. I usually don’t slow cook “a bit of pork”.πŸ‘

Only if I bring along a portable cooker. The swine you referred to was the meat source, not the golfer…right?πŸ€”πŸ˜²

I don't like to brag, but I can tell everyone here, that I can open any can of food very quickly, and then warm it to perfection.

After I posted, it did strike me that it could be read that way. πŸ˜† πŸ˜†
