Your post is nonsense for the following reasons:
1. If we didn't defeat Germany you'd be Sprachen se Deutch (sic?) If you don't already....Dutch?
2. Mandela would never have risen above shoe-shine boy
3. You, pro-alliance?..do ...[text shortened]... is web site?....you and BlackLung must be one and the same!! 😠🙄
Hold it, hold it, hold it just there .....
Dutch is NOT the same as German. Pléééééééase , Chan !
Worst mistake you can make if you visit the Netherlands is asking whether the Dutch language is the same as the German language.
The mistake however is understandable.
The English "Dutch" means Netherlandish in English.
The German "Deutsch" means German in English.
🙄
got it ? 😲
You wanna hear how Dutch sounds ?

The Russians won the war mate, even if they were commi's. It was the russians that took Berlin. Don't expect you to agree with me, i know your too much of a 'patriot' to admit the war would never have been won had they surrendered or lost.
That aside, my heartfelt thanx to the men women and children who died because of one contries ideals being put before other peoples lives. They all died in vain of course, we didn't learn a thing!
My being a "Patriot" doesn't distort my ability to discern facts...I give credit where credit is due...and you are right about war....we didn't learn a damn thing except better ways of killing....

Yeh, clever argument! What about all the people that died due to the cold war that was the result of that oh so 'necissary' disicision?
Vietnam, Korea, *->Afghanistan<-*??
That bomb sent the message Truman wanted to send to old Stalin loud and clear. Imagine Russia had Nuked Germany, look at all the Russian soldiers who could have been saved. Oh, sorry, guess that make me a commi doesn't it!

Dude. You didn't even read what I posted.

4. D-day motive driven?...what is the "motive"...you're ...[text shortened]... war. It's just by Britain and the USA to show how 'they' won the war.
hehe.. left wing..
"D Day can be remembered as a battle, much like the Alamo is remembered, however there is no reason to specifically remember this particular day as a focal point of the war"
Are you serious?? D-Day was ONLY the largest amphibious landing ever undertaken by man; it signified the final dismantling of the Nazi Empire; and, yes, it is about how America, Britain and Canada (and the lesser contributers) "won the war"...that's the entire point of the thread.... 🙄

Actually the white South African people of Dutch descent The "Boeren" (Burs ?) speak a form of Dutch that started its development when the Boeren went to South Africa. They brought with them the form of Dutch that existed at that time in the Netherlands. We call the form of Dutch the Burs speak now "Afrikaans". However it hasn't got much to do with Africa ..... so ... well .... any Afrikaners present ? .... maybe you feel like explaining these complicated things ..... pfff ....... 🙄
By the way .... are the Burs the same people as the Afrikaners ?
I got to go .... this is too much for me. 😉
