Mother, You had Me I never had you
I wanted you but you didn't want me
So I got to tell you
Goodbye , Goodbye
Father, You left me but I never left you
I needed you but you didn't need me
So I just got to tell you
Goodbye , Goodbye
Children, Don't do what I have done
I couldn't walk so I tried to run
So I got to tell you
Goodbye , Goodbye

Homer burst into song:-
Win Or Lose, Sink Or Swim
One Thing Is Certain We'll Never Give In
Side By Side, Hand In Hand
We All Stand Together
Play The Game, Fight The Fight
But What's The Point On A Beautiful Night?
Arm In Arm, Hand In Hand
We All Stand Together
La-
Keeping Us Warm In The Night
La La La La
Walk In The Night
You'll Get It Right
Repeat
Win Or Lose, Sink Or Swim
One Thing Is Certain We'll Never Give In
Side By Side, Hand In Hand
Homer backing up his argument Perhaps not as lyrical as John Lennon's Imagine granted, but basically the same message, of living in harmony/together. Plus look at those cute little frogs.... tee hee hee hee hee
I just have to share this with you all (it cracked me up anyways).

"Passions ran high at Strawberry Fields in Central Park on Thursday, as the whole world seemed to gather to remember John Lennon.
Police and park officers gently herded a diverse crowd of fans, well-wishers, journalists and conspiracy theorists around the intimate memorial space, shaded by elm trees, that is named after one of Lennon's most personal songs.
"I loved his music more than anything. Today more than ever," said Alan. His profound belief is that Chapman was programmed by the CIA to assassinate the former Beatle, in case he became a hindrance to the incoming Reagan administration.

Back when Reagan came to power, the new head of the CIA was one of a number of influential people who read a book documenting how the Soviet Union was behind terrorist groups around the world.
Some of his staff tried to point out to him that they recognised a lot of the material in the book as being propaganda THEY HAD MADE UP to smear the reputation of the Soviet Union. Their boss wouldn't listen to them and insisted they compile a briefing for Reagan on what the Soviet Union was up to.
Who knows, with that kind of thinking going on, I wouldn't find it impossible to believe someone had it in for Lennon.
What happened here
As the New York sunset disappeared
I found an empty garden among the flagstones there
Who lived here
He must have been a gardener that cared a lot
Who weeded out the tears and grew a good crop
And now it all looks strange
It's funny how one insect can damage so much grain
And what's it for
This little empty garden by the brownstone door
And in the cracks along the sidewalk nothing grows no more
Who lived here
He must have been a gardener that cared a lot
Who weeded out the tears and grew a good crop
And we are so amazed we're crippled and we're dazed
A gardener like that one no one can replace
And I've been knocking but no one answers
And I've been knocking most all the day
Oh and I've been calling oh hey hey Johnny
Can't you come out to play
And through their tears
Some say he farmed his best in younger years
But he'd have said that roots grow stronger if only he could hear
Who lived there
He must have been a gardener that cared a lot
Who weeded out the tears and grew a good crop
Now we pray for rain, and with every drop that falls
We hear, we hear your name
Johnny can't you come out to play in your empty garden
